Make your move
Swipe on the board or use the arrow keys or WASD. Every fruit slides as far as it can in the direction you choose.
Learn the rules, fruit chain, assists, scoring and strategy behind Fruit Merge.
Fruit Merge starts with a handful of tiny fruit and one simple idea: slide matching fruit together and see how far your orchard can grow.
The rules are simple enough to learn in a minute. The challenge is finding enough space to keep growing.
Swipe on the board or use the arrow keys or WASD. Every fruit slides as far as it can in the direction you choose.
Two identical fruit that collide merge into the next fruit. Each tile can merge only once during a move.
Build through the ordinary fruit chain, reach Golden Fruit, and then enter the rare Golden Chain all the way to the Harvest Star.
Merge two identical fruit to create the next one. Fruit values double at every tier, and a merge awards the value of the fruit you create.
Merge two Golden Fruits to create a Golden Seed. From there, grow a Golden Sapling, then a Golden Tree, discover the Orchard Heart, and finally create the Harvest Star — the 65,536-value final tier.
Most valid moves add a new Cherry.
A freshly spawned Strawberry does not count as a merge.
A tile can merge only once during each move.
The Harvest Star is the end of the current chain.
Fruit Merge rewards patience more than frantic swiping. Creating space is often more valuable than making the first available merge.
Keep your highest-value fruit in one corner where possible. Build progressively smaller fruit beside it instead of allowing your strongest tiles to drift around the board.
Every valid move introduces another fruit. Open cells are therefore valuable. Avoid filling the board with isolated fruit that cannot easily find a matching partner.
Don't look only at the merge in front of you. Consider where the resulting fruit will land and whether it creates the next useful pair.
If one swipe creates several merges, Fruit Merge records a combo. Combos contribute to statistics and achievements, but they do not multiply the normal score awarded by each merge.
Four Cherries lined up correctly, for example, can become two Strawberries in a single move.
Every new game includes one of each assist. They can rescue a difficult board, but using any assist makes that run an assisted game.
Rearranges the fruit currently on the board. Useful when the right fruit are present but trapped in awkward positions.
Remove one Cherry or Strawberry of your choice to create a little breathing room.
Removes every Cherry and Strawberry currently on the board in one powerful clean-up.
A game normally ends when no legal move remains. If you still have a usable Shuffle, Prune or Orchard Sweep, Fruit Merge will offer the available rescue options before ending the run.
You can use one and continue, or choose to finish the game and record your harvest.
Fruit Merge doesn't send every swipe to the server before allowing you to continue. Your moves, merges and fruit spawns happen immediately on your device.
When the game ends, Fruit Merge submits a compact replay. The server independently recreates the game before recording the verified score, statistics and achievements.
If your internet connection drops during a game, you can keep playing locally and submit the completed harvest once the connection returns.
